Wear and impact protection Magnetic Ceramic Liner for Chute, Feeder, Bin and Transfer Point

Magnetic Ceramic liner provides a temporary yet reliable patch system that can be installed quickly and safely without the use of welders or bolt fastening systems. This allows for minimal downtime, in repairing a leak or wears spot on chutes or load points. When time allows, magnetic ceramic liner can easily be removed, so that a more permanent repair can be performed.
Magnetic Ceramic liner (ceramic+rubber + magetic steel plate) adopts a hot vulcanization process to vulcanize wear-resistant ceramic and rubber together to form a ceramic rubber liner, and also backing with magnetic steel plate make it easier to mount. Liners can be supplied to incorporate a variety of ceramic shapes, including balls, cylinders and cubes, all of which have a high alumina silica content that withstands severe impact and high abrasion. It is suitable for conveyor transfer points, chutes with high wear, screen discharge liners, screen feed liners, charge chutes.

Magnetic Ceramic liner Structure and Principle
Composition structure: Generally composed of metal body (shell), permanent magnet (end cap and polymer magnet), elastic adhesive layer, and other parts. Metal bodies are used to protect magnetic blocks, providing mechanical strength and appropriate magnetic permeability; Permanent magnets generate magnetic force; The elastic adhesive layer plays a buffering and connecting role.
Working principle: When the magnetic ceramic liner is installed on the inner wall of the equipment, it uses its own magnetic force to adsorb one side onto the equipment and the other side onto the small ferromagnetic medium inside the air duct, forming an adsorption protective layer. As the protective layer thickens, the lining plate and the moving material medium no longer directly impact and erode, thereby reducing the wear rate and extending the service life of the lining plate.
Magnetic Ceramic liner Advantages
- High wear and abrasion resistance.
- Reduces maintenance costs by preventing equipment damage.
-
Improves process efficiency by continuously removing ferrous debris.
- Significant noise reduction
- Stay securely in place on vibrating screens and chutes
- Impact Absorbing
- No welding, gluing or bolting necessary
-
Eliminates the need for Hot Work permits in most areas
-
Combines wear protection and magnetic separation in one solution.
-
Wide temperature range for use: Theoretically, the temperature range for use is between -60 ℃ and 460 ℃, and the temperature resistance of special magnetic lining plates can reach over 1000 degrees Celsius
Magnetic Ceramic liner Applications:
Mining & Mineral Processing:
Protects chutes and pipelines while separating magnetic ores or tramp metal.
Cement & Power Plants:
Used for easily worn parts such as cyclone tubes, raw material grinding machine shells, mill separators, circulation pipelines, fan volutes, etc. in cement plants, which can effectively reduce equipment wear and extend equipment service life.
Recycling & Waste Management:
Separates ferrous contaminants from non-magnetic waste streams.
Food & Pharmaceutical Industries:
Used in applications requiring contamination control (e.g., removing metal fragments).
Chemical industry:
Used in material conveying pipelines, reactor liners, and other parts of chemical enterprises, it can resist the wear and erosion of corrosive materials.
Steel industry:
It is widely used in ore conveying pipelines, blast furnace dust removal systems, converter flue gas pipelines, etc. in steel plants, and can resist high temperature and high-speed material erosion.
Magnetic Ceramic liner Considerations
Magnetic Strength: Must be selected based on the size and type of ferrous particles.
Temperature Limits: Some magnetic ceramics may lose effectiveness at high temperatures.
Cost: Higher initial investment than standard liners, but justified by longer service life.
