Manufacturing: Sintering process fuses SiC powder at high temperature (2000–2200°C) under pressure to form a dense, solid, wear-resistant block.

Types of Installation

 

Tile lining – Sintered SiC tiles mounted onto steel plates with epoxy or mechanical fixing.

Pipe/Elbow lining – Cylindrical or conical inserts for pipelines.

Modular block lining – For chutes, hoppers, and high-wear zones; blocks interlock for strength.

Tip: Due to its brittleness, impact zones are often lined with ceramic-rubber composites or backed with steel.
