Silicon nitride ceramic pipes/tubes are tubular products made of silicon nitride (Si3N4), an advanced structural ceramic material. Silicon nitride is a highly regarded specialty ceramic in industry, often used to replace traditional metals, alloys, or other common ceramic materials due to its superior performance in extreme environments such as high temperature, high wear, and strong corrosion.
Features of Silicon nitride ceramic pipes
1. Excellent resistance to molten metal corrosion (highest highlight): A prominent characteristic of silicon nitride ceramics is that they are not wetted or corroded by most non-ferrous metal melts (such as aluminum, zinc, lead, tin, etc.). Therefore, they have an extremely long service life in high-temperature molten metal pools such as aluminum.
