1. Impact Resistance: Excellent buffering performance can effectively mitigate the impact caused by the falling of ores or other materials from a high position. However, simple wear-resistant ceramic liners, although having wear-resistant properties due to their main raw material being alumina, lack sufficient toughness. When the impact reaches a certain level, wear-resistant composite liners must be used.
2. Convenient for construction: The lining plates have no gaps after installation. The rubber composite lining plates can be twisted and cut, making them suitable for installing various irregular equipment.
3. No residue or blockage: Due to the high strength and corrosion resistance of ceramics, this effectively resolves the problem of equipment getting stuck with materials or accumulating residue. Traditional nylon plates often get stuck with materials, which affects work efficiency.
4. The ceramic-rubber composite plate has strong wear resistance, impact resistance and corrosion resistance. The rubber elastomer has excellent vibration reduction effect, which can reduce the noise generated during material transportation.

The Manufacturing Process of the Three-in-One Wear-resistant Ceramic Rubber Composite Panel
 

The manufacturing process of the three-in-one wear-resistant ceramic plate made of alumina ceramic, rubber and steel plate requires the integration of material properties and achieves complementary advantages through layer-by-layer composite. The following are the key process steps and key points:
1. Material selection and pre-treatment
Steel plate selection: Choose high-strength low-carbon steel or alloy steel (such as Q235, Q345), with thickness adjusted according to the application scenario (usually 5-20mm).
Surface treatment:

Mechanical treatment: Sandblasting (Sa2.5 grade) or grinding, to remove the oxide layer, oil stains, and increase the roughness (Ra ≥ 50 μm).
Chemical cleaning: Degreasing with alkali → Rust removal with acid → Water washing for neutralization → Drying, ensuring the cleanliness of the surface.
2. Rubber layer composite process
Rubber material: Select wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant types (such as NR natural rubber, NBR nitrile rubber), and add vulcanizing agent and accelerator.
Gluing process:
Gluing method: Hot spraying, brushing or extrusion molding, with a thickness of 1-3mm.
Sulfurization conditions: The flat vulcanizing machine is pressurized to (10-15 MPa), the temperature is 140-160℃, and the time is 20-30 minutes. This process achieves the chemical cross-linking of rubber and steel plate.
3. Composite of Alumina Ceramic Layer
Ceramic Preform:
Use high-purity alumina ceramic sheets (Al₂O₃ ≥ 95%), with a thickness of 3 to 8 mm, and the shape can be customized (hexagonal, square).
The backside is pre-coated with high-temperature inorganic adhesive (such as phosphate-based binder), enhancing the interface bonding.
Paste application process:
Arrangement method: Leave a 0.5 - 1mm expansion gap between the ceramic pieces to prevent cracking due to thermal stress.
Curing conditions: Vacuum hot pressing (pressure 0.5 - 1 MPa, temperature 200 - 250℃, holding for 1 - 2 hours), which promotes the curing of the adhesive layer.
4. Overall post-processing
Edge sealing: Fill the ceramic gaps with high-temperature resistant elastic glue to prevent the medium from seeping in.
Surface strengthening: Optional ceramic surface coating with wear-resistant layer (such as silicon carbide) or laser cladding treatment can be applied.
Quality Inspection:
Adhesion test: Thermal shock test (-40℃ → 200℃ cycle), Tensile test (≥ 10 MPa).
Abrasion resistance test: Tested by Taber abrasion machine, the rate of mass loss ≤ 0.02g per 1000 rotations.
5. Key Control Point
Thermal Expansion Matching: The rubber layer is used to buffer the thermal expansion difference between the ceramic (CTE ≈ 6×10⁻⁶/℃) and the steel plate (CTE ≈ 12×10⁻⁶/℃).
Interface stress: Gradient transition layers (such as adding ceramic particles to rubber) are used to improve interface bonding.
Equipment adaptation: Large components need to be processed in sections and then welded to prevent overall deformation.
