Double fixation, not afraid of high temperature and impact
This is the core advantage that distinguishes welded lining plates from pure adhesive products.
Stronger high-temperature resistance: Ordinary adhesive liners can usually only be used in environments around 100 ℃~300 ℃. Under special processes, welded lining plates can withstand temperatures up to 650 ℃ or even 750 ℃, solving the problems of adhesive aging and lining plate detachment at high temperatures. It is very suitable for use on high-temperature pipelines such as power plant air ducts and cement plant tertiary air ducts.
More resistant to impact and vibration: For equipment such as chutes, hoppers, or vibrating screens with large material drop and strong impact force, ceramic pieces that rely solely on adhesive can easily fall off under long-term vibration. The welding method provides mechanical connection strength, making the lining plate more firmly fixed and significantly reducing the risk of detachment under high vibration and strong impact conditions.
Ceramics themselves are "wear-resistant and lightweight"
On a firmly fixed basis, it inherits the excellent characteristics of alumina ceramics:
Extremely high wear resistance: The hardness of alumina ceramics is very high (Mohs hardness can reach level 9, Rockwell hardness HRA80-90), second only to diamond, and its wear resistance far exceeds that of ordinary wear-resistant steel, stainless steel and other materials. Used in pipelines for transporting coal, ash, and mineral powder, the service life can be extended many times compared to ordinary steel.
Lightweight and reduces equipment load: The density of alumina ceramics is approximately 3.6g/cm ³, which is about half that of steel. This means that with the same protective area provided, the added weight is less, making the equipment's operating load and support structure more friendly.
Some common product forms
In practical applications, welded lining plates have developed various reinforcement structures in addition to conventional flat plates. For example, there is a stud welding type that uses studs with inspection bolts for welding, which is said to have a reliability of over 99%, higher than ordinary spot welding; There is also a mutual pressure interlocking type, which has chamfered edges on the lining plate. After installation, adjacent ceramic tiles can interlock with each other without gaps, forming a tighter whole.
In summary, the welded wear-resistant ceramic lining plate, with its combination of "ceramic wear resistance" and "welding fixation", is particularly suitable for harsh working conditions that involve high temperature, impact, and severe wear at the same time. It can effectively solve the problems of traditional wear-resistant materials being prone to detachment and having a short service life.
