1.Polyurethane gun body+ceramic nozzle: This is the most common combination. For example, sandblasting guns (such as A4 and A5 models) are made of polyurethane material and used in conjunction with ceramic sandblasting nozzles to utilize the lightweight and corrosion-resistant properties of polyurethane, while also using ceramic nozzles to cope with abrasive erosion.

2.Ceramic core+polyurethane sheath: Another similar design is "outer polyurethane, inner ceramic core", pursuing the effect of "super smooth and wear-resistant", commonly used in sandblasting nozzles of mining equipment (such as hydrocyclones) to cope with high wear conditions. In addition, some manufacturers provide liquid sandblasting guns made of polyurethane material, but the nozzle uses more wear-resistant boron carbide instead of ordinary ceramics.

There are indeed pure ceramic sandblasting nozzles on the market (such as ceramic replacement nozzles used for small sandblasting guns), but their application scenarios are usually lightweight. In some high demand industries, such as lithium battery material processing, there may even be a trend of replacing polyurethane parts with all ceramic parts, as polyurethane may produce organic impurities to contaminate materials under high-speed wear.
